Sheep Leather

These smaller, nicely tanned hides have a sueded side and a smooth grain side. They are easy to bead on using our standard test (a #12 sharp needle). They have a moderate amount of stretch and are a very affordable alternative to the more expensive deer hides. Please note: they are not suitable for moccasins as they are a short-fibered hide and can tear with that kind of wear, but are entirely suitable for other projects. Use deerhide for the moccasins.
